Launch CRP429C | Update License
The Launch CRP429C update license is a software extension with a duration of 1 year. This license provides access to the latest software updates from Launch. These updates include expansions of the vehicle coverage, updated diagnostic data, and optimizations of the existing functionalities of the diagnostic device.
An active license is required to download software updates and to utilize the full functionality of the diagnostic device. After the license expires, the Launch CRP429C will continue to operate on the last installed software version, but it will no longer be possible to receive new updates. The renewal code for the license is delivered online within 24 hours after ordering via WhatsApp or email.
Applications and functionalities:
With the update license, the following functionalities and data of the diagnostic device are updated:
- Update vehicle coverage: Access to the most recent database with new car brands, models, and production years.
- Diagnostic software updates: Receiving updates for the diagnosis of specific vehicle systems, including the most current fault codes and service functions.
- Software optimization: Installation of firmware updates that improve the performance and stability of the diagnostic device.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the license, the serial number of your diagnostic device is necessary. This number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the Launch CRP429C.
- Settings menu: Via the main menu, under the options 'Settings' or 'Info'.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging, often near the barcode.
