The 16-pin OBD2 extension cable (30 cm) extends the car's OBD2 port by 30 cm. One end has a male plug for the car, the other end has a female connector for your diagnostic tool, VCI or dongle.
Useful when the OBD2 port is deep under the dashboard, and it protects the car's port from wear caused by repeatedly plugging and unplugging. The cable is passive: it contains no electronics.
