The Jaltest JDCOBD3 is a diagnostic adapter for Tata-Daewoo vehicles with a non-standard 16-pin OBD2 connector layout; the vehicle side features the proprietary connector, while the interface side provides the standard 16-pin OBD2. You connect it between your vehicle's diagnostic port and the 16-pin OBD2 cable of the Jaltest Link; it doesn't replace the cable but sits between them.
Once connected, the Jaltest software gains access to the vehicle network that would otherwise remain unreachable, since the signals don't align with the expected pins. From there, the software unlocks full vehicle diagnostics: read and clear fault codes, monitor live data, control actuators, and — depending on the system and coverage — perform maintenance and calibration routines. Which control modules appear depends on your active license and installed software version. The adapter is used within Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
