The Jaltest JDC227.9 connects a vehicle with a green 9-pin Deutsch diagnostic connector (type 2) to a Jaltest interface of the V9 generation in RP1210 configuration. On the vehicle side, there is a round connector with a green contact block containing nine female contacts, housed in a light grey threaded coupling shell. On the interface side, there is a light grey 26-pin DB26 connector with female contacts arranged in three rows and thumbscrews on either side. Between them runs 152 cm of black round cable, with two white cable labels.
The official description is Deutsch 9-pin diagnostic cable type 2 green, RP1210. The green colour corresponds to the type 2 configuration of the 9-pin Deutsch connector; a black 9-pin Deutsch is the type 1 configuration and represents a different connector. The difference from the sister cable JDC223.9 lies solely on the vehicle side. This JDC227.9 fits the round green 9-pin Deutsch connector; the JDC223.9 fits the rectangular 16-pin OBD2 connector. The interface side is identical on both cables: the same light grey 26-pin DB26 connector with thumbscrews.
