How does it work in practice?

Follow the steps below to activate your software license.

1. Place the order for the software extension via the webshop.
2. Enter the serial number of your Jaltest reading device in the remarks field during checkout.
3. Check whether your Jaltest-Link is registered with AsTools. If not, the update cannot be performed. You can fill in the Jaltest distributor change form and send it to us to add the device to our platform.
4. After receiving the order and the serial number, the license activation will be automatically and digitally processed for you within 24 hours.
5. Once processing is complete, a notification will appear in the Jaltest software to accept and activate the new license.

Serial number information

To process the license correctly, the serial number of your Jaltest reading device is required. Without this number, activation cannot be completed.

The serial number consists of 9 characters and can be found in one of the following locations. Make sure to enter this number correctly in the remarks field when placing your order.

• Interface: The serial number is listed on the sticker on the back of the Jaltest V9 Link.
• Settings menu: In the Jaltest software, you can find the serial number via the settings or information menu.
• Packaging box: The number is also on the original packaging of the reading device.
