The Jaltest JT2005 is an infrared thermometer designed for contactless measurement of surface temperatures. The thermometer has a measurement range of -50°C to 1000°C and a distance-to-spot ratio (D:S) of 30:1, allowing detailed measurements from a safe distance. Thanks to the IP65 certification, the housing is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for use in workshop environments.
The thermometer is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD screen that clearly displays the measurements. The emissivity is adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00, enabling accurate measurements on various materials such as metal, plastic, and rubber. Additional features include storing up to 99 measurements, adjustable HI/LO alarms for excessively high or low temperatures, and the display of maximum, minimum, average, and differential values (MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF).

This thermometer is developed for performing quick and contactless temperature diagnostics on various vehicle components. The functions are aimed at identifying thermal issues.

- Precision aiming: A built-in class 2 laser pointer ensures accurate targeting of the surface to be measured.
- Adjustable emissivity: The emissivity value can be adjusted according to the type of material, improving measurement accuracy.
- Data analysis: Provides the ability to display the maximum (MAX), minimum (MIN), average (AVG), and difference (DIF) in temperature of a measurement.
- Alarm settings: The user can set an upper (HI) and lower limit (LO) for the temperature, with a visual and audible alarm triggered upon exceeding these limits.
- Data storage: The LOG function allows storing up to 99 measurements internally for later consultation.
