The Jaltest JT2003 is a digital multimeter designed for industrial applications. The device features a True RMS measurement function, which ensures accurate readings of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal AC signals. The housing carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is completely dust-tight and resistant to water jets. Additionally, the multimeter has been tested for drop resistance up to 2 meters, supporting durability in demanding work environments. The instrument measures voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, and continuity.
This multimeter is equipped with various specialized features. The Low Pass Filter (LPF) enables accurate voltage and frequency measurements on variable frequency drives. The LoZ mode with low input impedance helps eliminate ghost voltages for more reliable readings. A dedicated MOTOR TEST function is available to check the rotation direction of three-phase motors. The JT2003 also offers 250 µs peak detection for capturing transients, a 6000-count display with auto-adjusting backlight that adapts to ambient light, and the ability to measure AC and DC components simultaneously.
