The Jaltest JDC553A is the diagnostic cable between the 9-pin SUB-D connector of Jungheinrich and the 16-pin OBD2 input of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm. On the machine end is a SUB-D plug with nine male pins in a nickel-plated D-shaped collar secured with two screw bolts; on the other end is a black moulded OBD2 housing.
Jungheinrich uses this plug on the electric EFG and warehouse series and on the DFG diesel and TFG LPG forklifts. Behind these are the machine computers MCM, MCM2 and DLC, the hydraulics control HCU, the power modules LMC and RMC, the DC instrument panel and, on the DFG/TFG versions, the engine controls E-CDIS, EDC 16 U31 and EDC 17 CP20 (CPYA). The cable is covered by Jaltest MHE.

Through this connection you access the truck's control units with the Jaltest software. Which systems are present varies by series and drive type: electric trucks work with the power modules, while the diesel and LPG versions additionally have an engine control.
