The Jaltest JDC512A is the adapter cable for tractors from Deutz-Fahr, Same and Lamborghini equipped with the manufacturer-specific 14-pin connector; on the vehicle side sits that connector, which you plug into the diagnostic port in the cab, while on the interface side is the 16-pin OBD2 input of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. These three brands belong to the same manufacturer group (SDF) and therefore share the same diagnostic connector.
Through this connection, the diagnostic equipment accesses the vehicle network and thus the engine control units EMR, EMR2 and EMR3, the transmission control units Power Shift and Power Shuttle, and the system scan via the display. Agricultural vehicles have never been subject to a legally mandated diagnostic port requirement, which is why this connector continues to be used on newer tractors as well. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and functionality
Through this connection, you access the tractor's control units using Jaltest software. Which systems are present varies by model and version.
Control units you can access
- Engine Management EMR — Unit Pump System: The older electronic engine control with unit pump system, used on the Agrotron generation.
- Engine Management EMR2 (EDC): The Engine Control Module of the later Agrotron and TTV versions.
- Engine Management EMR3 (EDC 16 UC40, common rail): The common-rail engine control of the newer TTV series.
- Transmission Power Shift: The control unit of the power-shift gearbox.
- Transmission Power Shuttle: The control unit of the reversing mechanism.
- Display System Scan: A complete system scan via the display, showing you at a glance which control units are present and where faults are logged.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, with descriptions of detected faults.
- View live data: See current sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as numbers and graphs.
- Activate components: Directly trigger components to determine whether a fault lies with the part itself or in its wiring.
- Adjust parameters: Write configurations and settings to the control unit.
- Perform calibrations: For systems where Jaltest offers a calibration procedure, such as after component replacement.
