The Jaltest (75201004) is a one-time software activation that unlocks the GSE (Ground Support Equipment) module on a Jaltest diagnostic device. This activation is the first step to use the diagnostic functionalities for ground handling equipment. The activation of the module is permanent and does not need to be renewed.

After ordering, the software activation is automatically processed within 24–48 hours. To actually use the software, besides this activation, a separate and valid software license for GSE is also necessary. Without an active software license, the module is activated but the functionalities are not accessible. A software license for Jaltest GSE can only be purchased in combination with an active Jaltest OHW license.

Applications and functionalities:

This software activation lays the foundation for using the GSE module, which supports the following diagnostic functions, provided a valid software license is active:

  • Diagnosis: Reading and clearing fault codes from various electronic systems.
  • Component actuation: Testing and controlling components such as valves and actuators.
  • System checks: Performing controlled tests of specific vehicle systems.
  • Measurements: Displaying live data and sensor readings.
  • Technical data: Access to technical specifications and system information.
  • Schematics: Viewing interactive electrical schematics.
  • Maintenance data: Consulting information about maintenance procedures and service intervals.

Note: The software activation is the first step to activate the Jaltest diagnostic device. However, for full use of the system, a valid software license is also required. Without this license, the module cannot function fully.

Serial number information:

For processing the software activation, the serial number of your Jaltest diagnostic device is required. Please provide this number (consisting of 9 characters) in the comments field when completing the order. You can find the serial number in the following locations:

  • Device: On the sticker on the back of the Jaltest Link interface.
  • Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under the 'Settings' tab.
  • Packaging box: On the original packaging of the diagnostic device.
