The Jaltest (74502012) is a software license for the Jaltest Marine Vessel module. This license is required to use the software after the initial purchase and provides access for a period of one year to all updates, technical information, and online features specifically for vessels such as inland ships, yachts, and other boats with inboard engines.

This license activation is the second step after purchasing the Jaltest Marine Vessel software (74502002). Without an active license, diagnostic capabilities and access to technical data are limited. After ordering, the license is automatically activated within 24 hours on the specified serial number of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.

Application and functionality:

This license provides access to the following functionalities within the Jaltest Marine Vessel software:

  • Software updates: Receipt of the three annual updates with new brands, models, systems, and diagnostic functions for vessels.
  • Technical information: Access to system information, wiring diagrams, component locations, maintenance data, and repair guides.
  • Online services: Use of online features such as Jaltest GRP for workshop management and the possibility of technical support.
  • Diagnosis: Performing full system diagnosis, including reading fault codes, viewing live data, performing actuator tests, and calibrating components.

The license is linked to the serial number of a compatible Jaltest VCI:

For license activation, the serial number of your Jaltest interface is required.

The serial number (9 characters) can be found in one of the locations below and must be entered in the comments field when ordering.

  • Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under "Settings" > "System" > "Interface information".
  • Packaging box: On the original box of the Jaltest hardware.
