The GoDiag MQB Data Collector (ELV/TCM-DSG) is a specialized transmission Adapter designed for data collection and diagnostics on VAG vehicles. This interface board serves as an essential bridge for diagnostic technicians working with MQB platforms. The device is specifically developed to extract data from the Electronic Steering Lock (ELV) and to establish stable communication with Transmission Control Modules (TCM) of DSG transmissions. The circuit board features standardized connectors, including a DB9 port and specific VAG connector ports, enabling secure connections without the need to cut or solder the vehicle’s original wiring harness.
To function correctly, the Adapter is connected in a test setup outside the vehicle or directly via the instrument panel connector. In combination with a compatible test platform, such as the GoDiag GT115 or the GT107+ gearbox Adapter, the module creates a simulated environment for the ECU. This allows safe reading and writing of flash data to the transmission module or the ELV via CAN bus protocols. The accessible measurement pins for CAN High, CAN Low, K-Line, and power supply (VCC/IGN/GND) ensure the diagnostic tool can process a correct signal. This enables technicians to comfortably perform diagnostics, clone data, or make adjustments on a workbench, significantly increasing workshop efficiency.
