The GoDiag GT114 is a specialized test platform cable designed for performing IMMO key programming and dashboard diagnostics outside the vehicle. This test cable is specifically developed for the Audi A4 and A6 C5 (2000-2006) equipped with a 2nd or 3rd generation immobilizer. The system allows diagnostic technicians to establish a direct offline connection between the detached instrument cluster and standard OBD2 diagnostic equipment. This enables tasks such as reading and writing IMMO data, odometer corrections, and instrument cluster repairs to be efficiently performed on the workbench without the car physically being in the workshop.
The operation of this cable relies on the integration of vehicle-specific dashboard connectors and a built-in key induction adapter. Once the instrument cluster is connected via the green and blue plugs, the technician can use the independent power and ignition switches to simulate the power supply and ignition lock. The built-in induction loop features a LED indicator that detects the transponder chip signal, which is crucial for synchronizing a new Megamos ID48 key. By connecting the 16-pin OBD2 port with programming tools like VCDS, VVDI2, or Autel, communication via the K-Line protocols is established to extract the required PIN code and complete the full learning process.
