The GoDiag GT105 II is a breakout box and ECU connector, designed to establish a connection with loose ECU modules on a workbench. This device enables technicians to perform diagnosis, programming, and data reading without the module being installed in the vehicle. The GT105 II features a digital voltmeter for monitoring supply voltage and has LED indicators that display the communication status of CAN bus and K-Line protocols. The system is powered by an external 12V DC power supply.
This breakout box features a switchable 120-ohm resistor for CAN bus networks and can be used as a stable power supply during vehicle battery replacement to prevent data loss. The included GT105+ OBD2 jumper cable provides a full protocol pass-through, enabling direct access to specific pins. The GT105 II is compatible with a wide range of ECU programming tools and diagnostic testers. Additionally, the device can be used for specific tasks such as assisting with 'all keys lost' situations for Ford models after 2016 and with Toyota ECU synchronization.
Application and functionality:
The GT105 II offers various functionalities for working with vehicle electronics:
- ECU connection on the workbench: Enables connecting individual ECUs outside the vehicle for programming, cloning, or data analysis.
- Communication indication: LED lights provide visual feedback on active data transmission via CAN-H, CAN-L, and K-Line protocols.
- Voltage display: An integrated digital display shows real-time supply voltage, helping to monitor the stability of the power supply.
- Vehicle power during battery change: The device can supply power to vehicle systems when the battery is disconnected, preserving settings and stored data.
- OBD2 Jumper: The included GT105+ cable functions as a 'full protocol' jumper, allowing direct and separate connections to the OBD2 pins.
- 120-ohm resistor: A switch activates an internal 120-ohm termination resistor required for correct communication on some CAN bus networks.
