The GoDiag GT100 is an OBD-II breakout box and ECU connector, designed for diagnosing and testing vehicle electronics. The device is equipped with LED indicators for all 16 pins of the OBD-II port, making the communication status between the diagnostic device and the vehicle immediately visible. An integrated digital display shows the real-time battery voltage, helping identify voltage issues.
This breakout box functions as a bridge between a diagnostic device and the ECU of a vehicle. It allows individual ECU modules to be connected and programmed on the workbench. Additionally, the GT100 can power the vehicle during battery replacement, preventing loss of stored data. The banana bus connections provide a direct measurement point for multimeters or oscilloscopes to analyze signals.
Application and functionality:
The GT100 is developed for various diagnostic and programming tasks:
- Communication detection: The LED indicators light up to show active communication on the CAN bus, K-Line, and other protocol lines, simplifying diagnosis of connection issues.
- ECU connection on the workbench: Enables connecting one or more ECUs outside the vehicle for diagnostics, programming, and maintenance.
- Vehicle power supply during battery replacement: By connecting the GT100 to an external power source, power to the vehicle is maintained when the battery is disconnected, preserving settings and codes.
- Voltage monitoring: The digital voltmeter displays the voltage of the OBD-II port, allowing quick checking of the battery and charging system status.
- Extension function: The device can function as an OBD-II extension cable, improving accessibility to the diagnostic port.
- Interface conversion: Suitable for converting non-standard OBD-I or specific truck diagnostic interfaces to a standard OBD-II interface.
