The GoDiag BMW CAS4/CAS4+ test platform is designed for testing and programming BMW CAS4 and CAS4+ immobilizer modules on the workbench. This platform enables diagnostic tasks and key programming to be performed without the module being installed in the vehicle. The device simulates the vehicle environment and allows direct communication with the CAS module via a OBD2 interface, simplifying the process of data reading and writing.
The test platform is equipped with an indicator that shows the communication status between the key and the CAS module, allowing quick verification of whether a key is correctly synchronized and functioning. It is compatible with various programming devices and provides a stable connection for reading D-Flash and P-Flash data. By testing the module outside the car, problems can be efficiently identified and resolved, for example after a repair or when creating new keys.
Application and functionality:
The platform is used to verify and program the functionality of the CAS module and the associated keys on the workbench.
- Key programming: Enables adding new keys or programming all keys when they are lost, in combination with a compatible programming device.
- Module testing: Checks the correct operation of the CAS4/CAS4+ module after repair or data modification by verifying communication with the key.
- Synchronization check: A built-in indicator shows whether the key successfully communicates with the CAS module, helping diagnose synchronization issues.
- Data reading and writing: Provides a stable connection for reading and writing data from the 9S12XDP512(1L15Y) and 9S12XEP100(5M48H) microcontrollers.
- Workbench diagnostics: Performs programming and testing functions without the module needing to be mounted in the car, speeding up the workflow for technicians.
