The GoDiag BMW CAS1/CAS2 test platform is a specialized interface for working with BMW CAS1 and CAS2 immobilizer systems. This platform enables reading and writing data on the workbench, programming keys, and diagnosing the CAS module without it being installed in the vehicle. It functions as a direct connection bridge between the CAS module and a compatible programming or diagnostic device.
The test platform is equipped with specific connectors for CAS1 (54PIN) and CAS2 (14PIN and 41PIN), ensuring a stable connection. The integrated LED indicators display the status of power supply, IMMO synchronization, and the key induction coil. This allows the user to visually verify whether the CAS module is functioning correctly and whether the key is successfully recognized by the system. A start/stop button simulates the vehicle's ignition switch for function testing.
Application and functionality:
This test platform is used in combination with diagnostic equipment and key programming tools to perform work on BMW CAS1 and CAS2 modules outside the vehicle.
- Workbench diagnostics: Enables reading fault codes and checking the operation of the CAS module without mounting it in the car.
- Key programming: Supports adding new keys and performing procedures for situations where all keys are lost, in combination with a compatible key programmer.
- Data recovery and cloning: Provides the ability to read and write EEPROM and FLASH data from the CAS module for repair or cloning purposes.
- Synchronization verification: The LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback on the communication status between the key and the CAS module, helping to check synchronization.
- Power supply and communication: Supplies the necessary power to the CAS module and ensures a stable communication line with the connected programming tool via the OBD2 port.
