GoDiag | BMW BDC3/BCP | Test platform
The GoDiag BMW BDC3/BCP test platform is a tool for diagnosing, programming, coding, and synchronizing BMW BDC3 and BCP modules outside the vehicle. The platform simulates the car's communication environment, allowing technicians to perform work on the body domain controller (BDC) on the workbench. This reduces the risk of disturbing other vehicle electronics during programming or testing.
The test platform supports communication via the CAN BUS protocol and is equipped with various connections to connect to diagnostic equipment such as ICOM, Autel, and the GoDiag GT100. Visual indicators, such as an IMMO status lamp, and a built-in key sensor provide direct feedback on the synchronization status between the key and the module. This makes it possible to check the functionality of the remote control and start suppression without the module being installed in the vehicle.
Application and functionality:
This platform is designed to simplify and secure work on BMW BDC3/BCP modules by performing it outside the vehicle. The main functions are:
- Synchronization detection: Checks whether the key and the BDC module are correctly synchronized. An illuminated IMMO indicator and an audible signal confirm successful synchronization.
- Offline programming and coding: Enables programming and coding of the BDC module without connection to the rest of the vehicle, preventing the risk of malfunctions in other modules.
- Key management: Supports matching keys for start suppression and testing the remote control function.
- Instrument panel simulation: The built-in lighting on the platform simulates the instrument panel for diagnostic purposes.
- Compatibility with diagnostic testers: Can be connected via the OBD or E-net port to various BMW-compatible diagnostic testers for extensive diagnostic functions.
- Automatic module recognition: Tests the intelligent synchronization function of the connected BDC3 module.
