The Galletto 1260 is an accessible and user-friendly ECU programming tool, designed as an entry-level model for car enthusiasts who want to explore the world of chiptuning and remapping. This interface cable allows communication with the engine control unit (ECU) via the vehicle's OBD2 port. It enables you to read the original software and write back a custom map to optimize engine performance.
The tool is developed for an older generation of vehicles and ECUs (mainly up to around 2009), such as the Bosch EDC15 and ME7 series. Thanks to the simple software and stable operation within the compatible range, this is an excellent choice for hobbyists. The Galletto 1260 offers an affordable way to gain experience with chiptuning without investing in expensive professional equipment.
Application and functionality:
- ECU map reading (reading): Make a complete backup of the original ECU software.
- ECU map writing (writing/flashing): Load a custom map back to the ECU to adjust performance.
- Performance improvement (chiptuning): Optimize parameters such as fuel injection, turbo pressure, and ignition timing.
- Easy operation: The included software guides the user through the process with clear steps.

Compatibility depends on the type of ECU, not specifically the car brand. Support for older models from, among others:
- VAG group: Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Škoda

Note: Not suitable for ECUs with modern 'anti-tuning' protection (usually from 2009 onwards).
