The Foxwell i80 Max is an advanced Diagnostic Tool, designed for professional workshops that require comprehensive vehicle diagnostics at OE level. With support for more than 90 vehicle brands, including the latest models and electric vehicles such as Tesla, this device offers in-depth system access for engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, TPMS, and more. The i80 Max is equipped with a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen, runs on Android 8.1, and features a powerful quad-core processor, enabling fast and accurate diagnoses.
Thanks to the wireless VCI connection via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, technicians can move freely around the vehicle during diagnostic work. The device supports functions such as AutoVIN recognition, bi-directional tests, ECU coding, and special maintenance functions like DPF regeneration and steering angle sensor (SAS) calibration. With an internal storage capacity of 64 GB, expandable via SD card, and a powerful 10,000 mAh battery, the i80 Max is designed for long-term use in demanding work environments.
Diagnostic functions:
The Foxwell i80 Max supports diagnosis for all electronic control units in the vehicle. With coverage of more than 90 brands, including electric vehicles, this device is suitable for universal use in professional workshops.
- ECU information: Reads software version, part number, calibration ID, and serial number per module.
- Read fault codes: Displays active, stored, and pending fault codes. Includes brand- and model-specific descriptions (DTCs).
- Clear fault codes: Removes fault codes after repair or maintenance; fault status becomes re-checkable.
- Live data: Shows real-time sensor data in table or graph form. Supports comparison of multiple parameters simultaneously.
- Freeze Frame data: Displays snapshots of critical system values at the moment a fault code was generated.
- Active tests: Directly activates components such as fans, relays, injectors, or EGR valves for functional checks.
- Bi-directional tests: Performs direct control of actuators and modules for in-depth OE-level diagnostics.
- Special functions: Supports brand-specific learning procedures such as DPF regeneration, SAS calibration, NOx sensor initialization, and airbag module adaptation.
- Programming / adjustments: Performs coding and software adjustments of vehicle options such as lighting, comfort modules, and mirror functions (if supported).
- Support for electric vehicles (EV): Reads EV-specific systems such as battery management and high-voltage drive.
Maintenance and service functions:
The Foxwell i80 Max features no less than 35 maintenance and service functions, making the device excellently suited for a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance. These functions assist technicians in efficiently performing common service tasks. Below is an overview of the most commonly used functions:
- Reset oil and service intervals: Allows you to reset service intervals and oil change reminders after maintenance.
- Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) reset: Enables the electronic parking brake to be opened and closed for brake system maintenance.
- Battery registration (BRT): Registers a new battery in the vehicle, essential for vehicles with advanced battery management systems.
- Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration: Activates the regeneration of the DPF to prevent blockages and maintain performance.
- Throttle body adaptation: Calibrates the throttle body after cleaning or replacement for optimal engine performance.
- Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) calibration: Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or replacement of steering components.
