The Foxwell I53BT is a professional Diagnostic Tool with wireless OBD2 connection, designed for diagnosis and maintenance of modern vehicles. Supporting more than 70 car brands, this device offers extensive system access for engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, TPMS, steering, and comfort systems. The I53BT is suitable for both professional workshops and advanced users who need in-depth fault analysis and service functions.
The device is equipped with a 5.5-inch color touchscreen, runs on Android, and works with FoxAssist software for updates via PC or Wi-Fi. Thanks to AutoVIN recognition, bi-directional component tests, multi-graph display, and extensive vehicle history, the I53BT is especially suitable for diagnostic work in a dynamic work environment. The included wireless OBD adapter (FoxLink I) increases freedom of movement during testing without compromising speed or reliability.
Diagnostic functions:
- Complete system diagnosis: Reads and clears fault codes in all electronic systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbags (SRS), steering, TPMS, air conditioning, body, and comfort modules.
- Read ECU information: Displays module data such as part number, software version, and serial number of each supported system.
- Read fault codes: Reads stored, active, and permanent fault codes per system, including brand-specific DTCs.
- Clear fault codes: Removes fault codes from memory modules after repairs have been performed, so warning lights turn off.
- Display live data: Shows real-time measurements from vehicle sensors in text and graph form, with the ability to monitor multiple parameters simultaneously.
- View freeze frame data: Presents vehicle data from the exact moment a fault code was generated, useful for in-depth fault analysis.
- Auto-scan: Performs an automatic scan of all available systems within the selected vehicle, with immediate status display and fault messages.
- Detailed fault code descriptions: Provides technical explanations and context for fault codes, including cause and possible consequences.
- Automatic and manual VIN recognition: Automatically recognizes vehicles via the VIN or allows manual brand and model selection.
- Pre-scan and post-scan reports: Generates automatic reports before and after maintenance or repairs, including status per system for documentation or customer communication.
- Actuator tests (bi-directional): Performs manual control of electronic components such as fans, valves, relays, and pumps to test operation directly.
Maintenance and service functions:
- Oil and service interval reset: Resets maintenance indicators after an oil change or periodic service. Supports fixed and variable intervals per brand.
- Electronic parking brake (EPB) reset: Puts the brake system into service mode for replacing brake pads or maintenance on the rear brakes, and performs automatic recalibration.
- Calibration of the steering angle sensor (SAS): Recalibrates the steering angle sensor after wheel alignment or replacement of steering components.
- Battery registration (BMS): Registers a new battery in the battery management system so that the charging systems function correctly.
- Diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration: Initiates a forced regeneration of the soot filter when saturated or after maintenance on the DPF system.
- Throttle body learning: Calibrates the electronic throttle body after replacement or cleaning, ensuring correct idle speed and throttle response.
- Reset transmission adaptation: Resets the learned values of automatic or CVT transmissions to factory settings after software updates or mechanical maintenance.
- Injector coding: Programs new or remanufactured injectors with corresponding correction codes in the ECU for optimal combustion.
- Reset TPMS: Initializes the tire pressure monitoring system after sensor replacement or tire change.
- Reset airbag module (SRS): Restores SRS function after component replacement or clearing crash data, if supported.
- Clutch adaptation: Performs a new learning procedure for clutch components in vehicles with DCT or automated transmissions.
- EGR reset: Reinitializes the exhaust gas recirculation system after replacing or cleaning the EGR valve or sensor.
- Reset turbo boost adaptation: Resets turbo boost control to default values after replacing turbo, actuator, or pressure sensor.
- Calibrate air suspension: Resets the ride height after replacing air suspension components or level sensors.
- Adjust suspension level control: Adjusts the height settings of adaptive chassis after replacement or reconfiguration of the suspension system.
Programming and coding functions:
- ECU coding: Adjust parameters in electronic control units to activate or deactivate functions such as daytime running lights, start-stop system, or interior lighting.
- Control unit configuration: Make adjustments in new or replacement modules so they work correctly within the vehicle network.
- Reset adaptation: Reset the learned values of systems such as the throttle body, fuel injection, automatic transmission, or turbo boost control to factory settings.
- Key programming (brand dependent): Program new keys or synchronize existing keys with the vehicle, for example after replacing the start module or ECU.
- Component coding: Code components such as injectors, EGR valves, ABS modules, or transmissions after installation or replacement.
- Retrofits: Activate or configure additional functions via software after installing optional equipment such as parking sensors, LED headlights, or tow bar modules.
Cloud and reporting features:
- Cloud storage of Diagnostic Tool reports: Automatically save pre-scan and post-scan reports in the Foxwell cloud for secure access, backup, and remote management.
- Report sharing via QR code or e-mail: Generate a shareable link or QR code to send customer Diagnostic Tool reports directly without the need for a PC.
- Automatic vehicle reporting: Automatically create a summary report of system status, fault codes, and test results at each diagnostic session.
- Customer-specific documentation: Link customer data to diagnostic reports for easy follow-up and archiving within the cloud environment.
- Device synchronization: Cloud reports can be accessed from multiple devices linked to the same account, ideal for teams.
- PDF export and storage: Save reports as PDF files, both locally and in the cloud, for printing, emailing, or archiving purposes.
Additional features:
- Automatic vehicle identification (AutoVIN): Recognizes vehicles directly based on the chassis number (VIN), for quick and accurate system selection.
- Data recording and playback: Record live sensor values (PIDs) while driving or testing and play them back for technical analysis.
- Save data and review locally: Store fault codes, measurements, and test results in internal memory or on SD card, without internet connection.
