In addition to general diagnosis, the i50 HD provides direct access to specialized modules for crucial systems such as DPF (particulate filter), ABS, speed limiters (Limit), and injector shutdown tests. Diagnostic functions:

The i50 HD offers extensive diagnosis for both heavy trucks and light vehicles.

• Complete system diagnosis (Trucks): reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and displays live data from all major systems such as engine, transmission, ABS, chassis, and instrument panel.
• Active tests: performs bi-directional tests to control and check the operation of components.
• Complete OBD2 diagnosis (Passenger Cars): offers all 10 OBD2 test modes for universal diagnosis of engine and emission systems.
• Live sensor data: displays real-time data from critical sensors. The data can be shown in text or graph form and recorded for later analysis.
• ECU information: requests specific information from the control unit, such as part and software numbers.

Maintenance and service functions:

The i50 HD offers direct access via the main menu to the most required service and test functions for trucks:

• DPF service: Performs a forced regeneration of the diesel particulate filter (DPF), resets relevant sensors, and monitors the cleaning process in real time.
• Injector test (shutdown): Enables temporarily disabling individual injectors to assess operation per cylinder and detect deviations.
• Speed limit setting: Supports reading and adjusting the maximum speed and engine RPM limit, if supported by the vehicle.
