The Autool AS502 is a brake fluid tester designed to measure the moisture content in brake fluid. The tester is equipped with a 2.8-inch LCD screen with backlighting for clear display of measurement results. The device uses electrochemical sensor technology and features a flexible probe of 260 mm with an outer layer of 304 stainless steel. The AS502 is suitable for testing DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 brake fluids.
The tester has two selectable modes: a normal mode for general fluid types and an expert mode for specific DOT4 brake fluid brands. Results are displayed as a percentage and via an analog bar graph. A built-in sound indicator and visual warnings on the screen indicate the brake fluid status. The housing has a silicone finish for better grip during use.

The Autool AS502 is used for analyzing the quality of brake fluid by determining the water percentage. The features include:
- Moisture content measurement: Accurately measures the percentage of water in the brake fluid to determine quality and the need for replacement.
- Two test modes: Offers a normal mode for DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 fluids and an expert mode for specific DOT4 brands.
- Expert mode compatibility: Supports measurements for brake fluids from various brands, including ATE, Bosch, Brembo, Castrol, Ferodo, Fuchs, Mobil, Motul, Textar, Total, TRW, and Valeo.
- Clear result display: The 2.8-inch LCD screen shows the water content as a percentage, an analog bar graph, and an "OK" or "Warning" status.
- Visual and auditory indicators: Provides both visual and sound signals when the water content reaches a critical level, advising replacement of the brake fluid.
- Flexible probe: The 260 mm long stainless steel probe enables measurements to be taken in hard-to-reach brake fluid reservoirs.
