The Autel Toyota 8A Blade AKL Kit is a set of adapter cables designed for "All Keys Lost" (AKL) situations in specific Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles. The kit is intended exclusively for models equipped with an 8A "H-type" transponder chip in a traditional contact key (blade key). This set allows programming a new key without disassembling the vehicle's immobilizer module (IMMO box) by making a direct connection to the fuse box or smart box.
This cable set functions as a bypass solution and supports calculating the pin code needed for key programming. The kit is compatible with Autel MaxiIM key programmers, such as the IM508 (in combination with the XP400 Pro), IM608, and IM608 Pro. For certain vehicle models, this kit replaces the need for the APB112 smart key emulator, simplifying the programming procedure.
Application and functionality:
The set is used for programming new keys when all original keys of a vehicle have been lost. It provides a direct, non-invasive connection to the vehicle's immobilizer system.
- "All Keys Lost" (AKL) programming: Enables adding a new 8A blade key without a working key present.
- No disassembly of the IMMO box: Prevents the need to remove the immobilizer module from the vehicle, reducing the time required for the procedure.
- Pin code calculation: Facilitates calculating the required pin code for registering a new key.
- Direct connection: The cables are connected via specific connectors to the vehicle's fuse box or smart box.
