Autel MaxiCom MK908 Car Diagnostic Tool

The Autel MaxiCOM MK908 is a powerful and versatile Diagnostic Tool specially developed for professional workshops that require in-depth diagnostic access, speed, and reliability. The system is based on a large 10.1-inch Android tablet with a bright touchscreen and is powered by a fast octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. Thanks to the MaxiVCI VCI interface, wireless communication with the vehicle is possible, offering flexibility while working around the vehicle.

The MK908 supports OE-level diagnosis for more than 80 vehicle brands and provides extensive access to all electronic systems, including engine, ABS, airbags, transmission, and comfort modules. The system supports active tests, ECU coding, AutoVIN recognition, live data, and more than 30 maintenance and service functions. This makes the MK908 a complete solution for diagnosis, maintenance, and advanced vehicle configuration in the professional workshop.

Diagnostic functions:

The Autel MaxiCOM MK908 offers extensive diagnosis at OE level for more than 80 vehicle brands. The device has access to all electronic control units and is suitable for both fault analysis and advanced system tests.

• Complete system diagnosis: Scans all present vehicle modules such as engine, transmission, ABS, SRS (airbag), air conditioning, steering, body and more. Reads and clears fault codes with clear descriptions.
• Active tests (bi-directional control): Sends commands to components such as injectors, fuel pumps, EGR valves or headlights, to directly check operation without disassembly.
• Live data display: Shows real-time data in text, graph or analog format, with the ability to record, rewind, and compare multiple data streams.
• AutoVIN & AutoScan: Automatically recognizes the vehicle via the VIN number and performs a full system scan.
• Pre- and post-scan reports: Generates detailed reports of the vehicle status before and after repair, useful for customers, insurance, or documentation.
• Support for 10 OBDII modes: Including advanced test modes such as Mode 6 for emission control and monitor analysis.

Maintenance and service functions:

The Autel MK908 offers direct access to more than 30 maintenance and service functions, designed to perform routine maintenance efficiently and flawlessly. All functions are clearly grouped and directly accessible via the service menu.

• Oil Reset: Resets the service interval and maintenance notification in the onboard computer after oil change.
• Injector Initialization: Writes the unique calibration code (IMA or CVI) of new or refurbished injectors to the ECU for accurate fuel injection.
• Throttle Body Initialization (ETC): Relearns the basic settings of the electronic throttle body after cleaning or replacement.
• Transmission Initialization (CVT): Resets the adaptive learning values of the automatic transmission to improve shift behavior.
• Crankshaft Position Sensor Initialization (TEC): Performs the learning procedure of the crankshaft sensor after sensor or ECU replacement.
• Diesel Particulate Filter Initialization (DPF): Provides functions for the diesel particulate filter, including forced regeneration and resetting DPF values.
• AdBlue System Reset (SCR): Performs a reset on the SCR system after refilling AdBlue or replacing system components.

• ECU coding: Changes settings within control units to activate, configure or replace components.
• Offline coding: Supports coding without an active internet connection for brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and VAG vehicles.
• Personalization of vehicle settings: Activates or deactivates comfort and user functions such as start/stop, daytime running lights, mirror folding or cornering lights.
• Adjustment after component replacement: Performs necessary configurations when replacing parts such as Batteries, injectors, airbags, headlights or sensors, depending on the vehicle type.
• Service-related coding: Adjusts parameters within systems such as brakes, steering, transmission or suspension after maintenance or upgrades.

After the second year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
