The Autel MaxiCom MK906 Pro2-TS update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK906 Pro2-TS by one year. What the device can do is determined by the software and not by the hardware. The MK906 Pro2-TS is an 8-inch diagnostic tablet running Android 10, with built-in TPMS functions, which communicates with the vehicle via the MaxiVCI V200 and thereby supports DoIP and CAN FD.

The licence is tied to the serial number of your MK906 Pro2-TS, not to an account or a code. We activate it within one working day on the serial number of your device. An extension keeps the vehicle coverage, the coding files and the more than 45 service and maintenance functions up to date. If the term expires, the basic functions continue to work on the last installed version, but new software and the online functions lapse.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕This extension is for the MK906 Pro2-TS; the MK906 Pro-TS and the MK906S Pro-TS each have their own licence.
✕An extension delivers software and not hardware, so the BT506 battery tester and the MV105S and MV108S inspection cameras must still be purchased separately.
✕Without a current licence, Autel Cloud reporting also lapses; the pre- and post-scans you have already carried out remain in place.

Applications and functionality

Three things on the MK906 Pro2-TS depend on the licence. The vehicle coverage determines which vehicles the device recognises, the function files determine what it may do with them, and the online services provide what comes in from outside.

What an extension gives you

How does it work in practice?

The process takes four steps. Allow for some download time if you have not updated for a year.
