The Autel MaxiCom MK808K-BT is a versatile and advanced Diagnostic Tool, developed for both the professional workshop and the experienced DIYer. The system is based on a robust 7-inch touchscreen tablet with the fast and stable Android 11 operating system. The MK808K-BT offers extensive access to vehicle systems, bidirectional control, a wide range of maintenance and reset functions, and supports OE-level diagnostics on most common vehicles.

What distinguishes the "K" version is the included set of OBD1 adapters, allowing vehicles from before 1996 without a standard 16-pin OBD2 connector to be read. Communication with the vehicle is wireless via the MaxiVCI Mini Bluetooth interface, providing freedom of movement and a stable connection. One year of free software updates is included as standard. After this period, the system remains fully functional on the last installed software, with optional license renewal for access to new updates and expansions.

The Autel MK808K-BT offers comprehensive diagnostic functionality at OE level, supporting fault analysis, real-time data monitoring, and component control for virtually all vehicle systems.

• Complete system diagnosis (OE-level): Access to all electronic systems in the vehicle, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), body control module (BCM), air conditioning, instrument panel, and more. Supports reading and clearing fault codes with full fault descriptions.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Sends test commands to actuators, relays, and components, such as activating the fuel pump, testing the air conditioning clutch, or operating windows and locking systems, without disassembly.
• AutoVIN technology: Automatically recognizes the vehicle based on the chassis number (VIN) and directly selects the correct make, model, and year. This shortens diagnostic time and reduces the chance of errors.
• Live datastream: Displays real-time sensor data in various formats, including text display, graphs, and analog gauges. Ideal for monitoring systems during active tests or test drives.

Maintenance and service functions:

The MK808K-BT supports more than 28 maintenance and service functions, enabling common maintenance tasks to be performed quickly and efficiently. These functions are suitable for resetting, initializing, and learning systems after replacement or service.

• Oil service reset (Service): Resets maintenance interval and service light after oil change.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB): Release and calibrate the electric handbrake for brake system maintenance.
• Battery management system (BMS): Registers a new Battery for correct charge status and voltage regulation.
• Steering angle sensor (SAS): Calibration of the steering angle sensor after alignment or replacement of steering components.
• Diesel particulate filter (DPF): Forced regeneration and reset of values after soot filter maintenance.
• Bleed ABS pump: Removes air from the brake system via the ABS module after brake maintenance.
• TPMS reset: Recognizes and relearns tire pressure sensors or resets the warning system.
• Throttle body learning (ETC): Recalibrates the throttle position after replacement or cleaning.
• Initialize injectors: Programs new injector IDs for optimal fuel atomization.
• Transmission adaptation: Resets learned values in automatic transmissions for smooth shifting.

• Autel Cloud Report Management: Diagnostic reports are automatically saved in the Autel Cloud, making them centrally accessible for archiving, retrieval, and report management – from any device with internet connection.
• Easy sharing and printing: Reports can be directly shared via email from the tablet, saved as PDF, or wirelessly printed via Wi-Fi. Ideal for customer communication and workshop documentation.
• Remote Access (TeamViewer): Thanks to the built-in TeamViewer integration, a technician or supplier can remotely access the device (with user permission) for support with complex diagnostics or configuration questions.

Extra features and special capabilities:

The MK808K-BT is equipped with various additional features and hardware characteristics that make the device especially valuable for universal workshops and technicians who also want to diagnose older vehicles.

• FCA AutoAuth access: Provides authorized access to the Secure Gateway (SGW) of modern vehicles from Fiat, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo and Jeep. This allows full diagnostic and service functions to be performed without physical bypass. An active AutoAuth account is required.
• Extensive OBD1 adapter kit: The "K" in MK808K-BT stands for Kit. This version comes with an extensive set of OBD1 adapters for diagnostics on older vehicles without a standard 16-pin OBD2 connector. Supported brands include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan and more.

• Includes 1 year of updates: A 12-month update license is included with the purchase.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
