The Autel MaxiCheck MX808S-TS update licence extends your right to software updates for the MX808S-TS by one year. The MX808S-TS combines diagnostic and service functions for cars and a complete TPMS module for tyre pressure sensors in a single 7-inch Android tablet. The device activates virtually all known sensors, programs Autel MX-Sensors and guides you step by step through the learning procedure.

For TPMS, up-to-date software is especially important. Every new model brings its own sensor IDs, protocols and learning procedures, and without that data the MX808S-TS cannot read a sensor or program an MX-Sensor as a replacement. We activate the licence on the serial number of your tablet, usually within one working day. If the licence expires, everything currently on the device will keep working, but new vehicles and sensors will not be added.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The licence is tied to one serial number and cannot be transferred to another tablet.
✕MX-Sensors and valves are sold separately; the licence only provides software.
✕An extension does not change the hardware. Functions that the MX808S-TS does not have as standard will not be added.
✕After a year without updates, the download package is large; ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection and a charged battery.

Applications and functionality

The MX808S-TS software consists of two parts, both of which are updated by the licence. The diagnostic part determines which vehicles and control units the tablet recognises, the TPMS part determines which sensors and learning methods it supports.

What comes with an extension

  • TPMS coverage: New sensors, vehicles and sensor IDs for activating, reading and programming MX-Sensors.
  • Learning procedures: Updated step-by-step instructions for OBD learning, idle learning and automatic learning.
  • Vehicle coverage: New makes, models and model years for reading and erasing codes and live data, with recognition via AutoVIN.
  • Service functions: Oil service, electronic parking brake, steering angle sensor, battery registration and DPF regeneration follow new vehicles.

What happens without an extension

  • Existing functions: The MX808S-TS continues to work with all vehicles and sensors currently on it.
  • New sensors: Sensors and vehicles that appear after your last update are not recognised and cannot be programmed.
  • Corrections: Improvements and bug fixes for existing procedures are no longer received.

How does it work in practice?

Extending the licence takes only a few minutes. It takes four steps.

  1. Enter serial number: Provide the serial number of the MX808S-TS when ordering.
  2. Activation: We extend the licence on your serial number, usually within one working day.
  3. Wi-Fi and power: Connect the tablet to the charger and link it to a stable Wi-Fi network.
  4. Installing updates: Select the new diagnostic and TPMS versions in the update menu and start the installation.
