This adapter is specifically designed for older models of General Motors (GM) and Daewoo, enabling diagnostics on vehicles that are not equipped with the standardized OBD2 port.
This adapter functions as a physical bridge between the vehicle's older diagnostic port and the standardized plug of modern diagnostic equipment. The design ensures that the pins are correctly connected, allowing the reader device to communicate with the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) for reading fault codes and other system information.
