Autel AutoLink AL539B | Error Code Reader/Multimeter
The Autel AutoLink AL539B is a combined fault code reader and multimeter for performing vehicle diagnostics and electrical measurements. The device is designed to read and clear OBD2 fault codes, test electrical systems, and check the status of 12V batteries. The tester features a TFT color screen that displays diagnostic results, live data, and measurement values.
This model supports all 10 OBD2 test modes for a complete diagnosis of the engine management system. The integrated AVOmeter allows measuring voltage, current, and resistance. Additionally, the AL539B offers specific functions for testing a vehicle's starting and charging system. With the patented One-Click I/M Readiness Key, the emission status can be quickly verified. The device can retrieve vehicle information such as VIN, CIN, and CVN and can be updated via the internet.
Application and functionality:
The AL539B combines three main functions in one device for vehicle diagnosis and maintenance:
- OBD2 fault code reader: Reads and clears generic (P0, P2, P3, U0), manufacturer-specific (P1, P3, U1), and pending fault codes.
- Live data: Shows real-time data streams from the vehicle sensors, including graphical display.
- Freeze frame data: Displays the vehicle conditions that were stored at the moment an emission-related fault occurred.
- I/M readiness: Checks whether the vehicle's emission-related systems are functioning correctly and are ready for an emissions test.
- O2 sensor test: Retrieves and displays the test results from the O2 sensor monitor.
- On-board monitor test: Reads the results of diagnostic monitoring tests for specific components and systems.
- AVOmeter function: Measures AC/DC voltage, current, and resistance. Also performs continuity tests.
- Battery test: Analyzes the status of the 12V battery and checks its health.
- Start test: Analyzes the voltage and cranking speed of the starter motor to determine the condition of the starting system.
- Charging system test: Tests the vehicle's charging system to check the alternator output.
