The Autel Adapter Cable is an Adapter that establishes a connection between older vehicles of the VAG group and modern OBD2 diagnostic equipment. The cable converts the specific 2+2-pin OBD1 diagnostic connector to a standardized 16-pin OBD2 connector. This makes it possible to communicate with the electronic control units (ECUs) of these vehicles using contemporary scanners.
The 2+2-pin connector consists of two separate plugs: one for power supply and one for the data lines (K-Line and L-Line).
