\nThe OBDSTAR N026 is a adapter cable that a SYM 3-pin diagnostic connector convert to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) port. The adapter is designed for use with OBDSTAR diagnostic readers or programmers and enables you to perform vehicle diagnostics on SYM mopedsthat lack a built-in OBD2 port. The housing is compact and fits directly onto the vehicle's 3-pin connector.
\nThe adapter converts the 3-pin proprietary connector from SYM to the standardized OBD2 format, so the OBDSTAR diagnostic device can communicate with the engine control unit of the vehicle. Via the connected diagnostic equipment, signals about the K-line or other communication protocols passed on that are standard in this vehicle category. The pin configuration from the SYM connector is correctly passed through to the corresponding pins of the OBD2 connector, with no active electronics in the adapter itself.\n
