The OBDSTAR TCM-006 adapter cable is designed to establish a direct connection with Temic VL381 (0AW) transmission control units (TCM). This cable is equipped with a specific 16-pin round connector on the vehicle side and a standard 15-pin DB15 connector on the diagnostic side, allowing the unit to be safely connected on the workbench for in-depth diagnostic procedures.

With this adapter, the signal transfer between the transmission module and the programming interface is extremely stable, which is essential for complex operations such as reading and writing the flash memory and the EEPROM. The fixed connection configuration prevents the use of loose pin-out wires and minimizes the risk of incorrect connections and short circuits. This adapter cable is only compatible with OBDSTAR readers and programmers.
