The Jaltest JDC511A is the switch adapter for the 9-pin Deutsch-diagnostic connector on machines from the CNH Group, including New Holland and Case IH; the adapter connects that connector to the 9-pin Deutsch input on your Jaltest diagnostic cable. Between both sides is a switch that lets you select the communication line. CNH Group machines route multiple bus lines to the same diagnostic connector.
Through this connection, your diagnostic equipment accesses the selected bus line and the control units behind it. This way you reach the different systems in the machine from a single connection point, without rewiring the machine; available functions vary by machine, system and model year. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).
