The Jaltest JDC407A is the adapter cable that converts the two proprietary 8-pin ST15 connectors from the Iveco Daily to the standard 16-pin OBD2 interface. It connects directly to the vehicle's wiring harness at the Security Gateway located in the dashboard area of the cab; on the other end, it provides the 16-pin OBD2 connector for your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
With this connection, Jaltest diagnostic equipment reads the vehicle network while bypassing the SGW, Security gateway system, which on newer Daily models sits between the OBD2 port and the vehicle network and blocks write operations. This keeps full Daily coverage accessible: the engine control unit EDC 17 (common rail), the brake, traction and stability control systems ABS9/ASR9/ESP9, the automatic transmission ZF 8HP Hi-Matic, the driver assistance systems AEBS and LDWS, the power steering EPS and the exhaust aftertreatment system DCU, including parameter writing, coding and calibration. The cable is covered under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

Compatible vehicles and applications
The gateway determines compatibility, not the model. This ST15 cable is not an OBD1 adapter but an SGW bypass: it circumvents the Security Gateway on modern Iveco Daily vehicles, giving Jaltest full read and coding access. The cable configuration below covers Jaltest CV; verify on-site whether your vehicle has an SGW module installed.
