\nThe Jaltest JDC406A is the cable that connects the 12-pin and 8-pin connector from the security gateway in Fiat vehicles converts to the standard 16-pin OBD2-connection. You do not connect it to the vehicle diagnostic connection on, but directly onto the port connector wiring harness, so that diagnostics do not run through that port. On the other side, your Jaltest diagnostic cable. This means you don't need separate access to the security gateway (SGW) to acquire.\n

\nThe cable features a own black housing. At the top is the 16-pin OBD2-connection; at the bottom come two black connectors to short strands outward, the 12-pin and the 8-pin half of the connection on the security port. Both belong to the port connection; the cable brings them together to one OBD2 connector. Which control units are accessible varies depending on the model and variant. The cable is part of Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).\n
