The Jaltest JDC307A is the adapter cable that connects the 9-pin Mate N-Lock diagnostic connector of the ZF Ecomat 4 bus automatic transmission to a standard 16-pin OBD2 interface. On the system side, you'll find the locking 9-pin Mate N-Lock connector, which sits on the transmission control unit of the gearbox itself rather than on the vehicle's OBD port; on the interface side is the 16-pin OBD2 connector of your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
Behind this single connector lies the transmission control of the ZF gearbox, which Jaltest covers under Ecomat 2/4, Automatic gearbox. Once connected, your diagnostic equipment gains access to fault codes, live data, and configuration settings of that control unit; with Ecomat 2/4, the coverage includes not only reading fault codes but also component actuation and parameter adjustment — broader than Ecomat 1 and EcoLife. Because the ZF control unit is what matters, not the chassis manufacturer, the transmission keeps its own diagnostic connector, even on buses with their own OBD port. This cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
