The Jaltest 50004016 is a specialized TPMS programmer for commercial vehicles. This portable device is designed for reading, activating, and programming tire pressure sensors on trucks, buses, trailers, and light commercial vehicles. The system supports an exceptionally wide range of protocols and reads current sensor data such as tire pressure, internal temperature, and battery status directly via wireless communication on the standard frequencies of 315 MHz and 433 MHz.
Once the diagnostic technician places the device on the wheel valve, the tool generates a low-frequency wake-up signal to bring the TPMS sensor out of power-saving sleep mode. The internal receiver then processes the returned radio frequency signals, after which the technical data appears on the display. This programmer functions as a stand-alone unit for quick inspections but can also be connected to the Jaltest diagnostic software to write new sensor IDs into the vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU). This makes the instrument effectively usable for both regular preventive maintenance and complex learning procedures after component replacement.
