The Topdon ArtiDiag900 BT is a wireless diagnostic tablet system, supplied as a 7-inch tablet with a separate Bluetooth VCI dongle. This system supports diagnostics for more than 130 vehicle makes and is equipped with features such as ECU coding, bidirectional control and over 28 service functions. The device comes with a 2-year licence for free Software updates.

The ArtiDiag900 BT offers wireless connectivity up to a range of 10 metres via the VCI dongle. Features such as AutoVIN for automatic vehicle identification and generation of a 'Health Report' contribute to an efficient diagnostic process. Functionality can be further extended with optional licences for access to secured FCA and Renault systems via a Secure Gateway (SGW).

Diagnostic functions:

The Topdon ArtiDiag900 BT performs diagnostics on all available electronic systems of a vehicle, including the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, air conditioning and more.

• Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears fault codes (DTCs) from all available control units in the vehicle.
• Live data functions: Displays real-time data streams from sensors and components. The data can be displayed in various formats, such as text, graphs or combined, for detailed analysis.
• Actuator control (bidirectional control): Sends commands to vehicle systems and components to test functionality. This allows actuators such as fuel pumps, injectors, valves and lights to be controlled directly.
• AutoVIN: Automatically identifies the vehicle based on the chassis number (VIN) for a quick start to diagnostics.

Service and maintenance functions:

This device supports more than 28 service and maintenance functions. The available functions may vary depending on the vehicle make, model and year of manufacture.

Engine and drivetrain:

• Reset oil service: Resets the oil life or maintenance system after an oil change.
• Throttle body relearn: Initialises the throttle actuators to default values after replacement or cleaning.
• Injector coding: Writes the new injector code to the ECU after injector replacement.
• Automatic transmission relearn: Performs an adaptive learning process for the automatic transmission to optimise shift quality.
