Topdon ArtiDiag500 Car Diagnostic Tool

The Topdon ArtiDiag500 is a Diagnostic Tool, intended for both DIY enthusiasts and professional workshops. This second generation is developed based on user feedback and is equipped with a 4-core processor and an Android 11.0 operating system. Operation is via a 5-inch touchscreen and physical buttons.

The functionality of the ArtiDiag500 is focused on diagnosing four main systems: engine, transmission, ABS, and airbag. The device also supports full OBD2 functionality. Features such as AutoVIN for automatic vehicle identification and graphical display of live data are available to support the diagnostic process. The product comes with lifetime free updates.

Diagnostic functions:

• Four system diagnostics: offers in-depth diagnostics for the four basic ECUs: Engine (PCM), Transmission (TCM), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Airbag (SRS).
• Read & clear fault codes: reads and clears fault codes (DTCs) in the supported systems.
• Complete OBD2 functions: supports all 10 OBD2 test modes for a complete emissions-related diagnosis.
• Graphical live data stream: displays real-time data from vehicle sensors. Up to 4 data streams can be displayed graphically simultaneously for clear comparison and analysis.
• AutoVIN: quickly and automatically identifies the vehicle based on the chassis number, speeding up the selection process.

Maintenance functions:

The ArtiDiag500 supports 6 commonly used service reset functions:

• Oil reset: resets the service interval after an oil change.
• Throttle body learning (Throttle Adaptation): calibrates the throttle actuators after cleaning or replacement.
• Steering angle sensor (SAS) reset: calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or steering system work.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB) reset: puts the brake system in service mode for maintenance and reactivates it afterwards.
• Battery registration (BMS): registers a new Battery with the vehicle's Battery Management System.
• Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) reset: resets the system after replacing a tire or sensor.
