Jaltest JT2006 Infrared Thermometer
The Jaltest JT2006 is a infrared thermometer in pocket size for contactless temperature measurements. The device has a temperature range of -20°C to 400°C and a distance-to-spot ratio (D:S) of 10:1, meaning that from a distance of 100 cm a surface of 10 cm is measured.
The model is equipped with an integrated laser pointer for precise aiming and an illuminated LCD display for good readability in dark environments. The thermometer has a fixed emissivity of 0.95 and remembers the last measured value, even after switching off. These features make the instrument suitable for various applications in the automotive and industrial sectors, such as checking engine parts, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
Application and functionality:
The thermometer measures surface temperatures without physical contact by detecting the infrared radiation of an object. Operation is via a single button.
- Data hold: The last measured value is automatically held on the display for 8 seconds.
- Automatic shutdown: The device automatically switches off after 8 seconds of inactivity to save battery power.
- Unit selection: Measurements can be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
- Memory: The last measured value is stored and displayed when switched on again.
