The Autel GM/Daewoo 12-pin to 16-pin adapter is specifically developed to connect older vehicles with a 12-pin diagnostic port to modern reading equipment. This compact adapter forms the physical bridge between the older, vehicle-specific ALDL connection (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link) and the universal 16-pin OBD2 plug of the diagnostic tester.

This adapter facilitates the transmission of vehicle-specific data via an internal pin configuration that corresponds to the OBD1 protocol of General Motors and Daewoo. The housing is a sturdy, cast block without cables, ensuring stable signal transfer between the ECU and the diagnostic device, provided the tester used has the required OBD1 software.
