The Autel Audi/Seat/Skoda/Volkswagen 2+2-pin Adapter Cable is developed to connect older vehicles from the VAG group with modern diagnostic equipment that has a 16-pin OBD2 connector. This cable bridges the physical incompatibility between the vehicle-specific 2x2 diagnostic port, which was standard in early '90s models, and the universal interface of contemporary reading devices.

The Adapter uses two separate connectors on the vehicle side: the black plug provides the power supply (12V) and ground, while the white plug is responsible for data communication via the K-line and L-line protocols. This configuration ensures correct pin assignment and stable signal transmission, enabling in-depth system diagnostics on older vehicle models without the OBD2 standard.
