The OTOFIX D1 update license provides access to the latest software and updates for a period of 1 year. This license activates the download capability for new software improvements, expanded vehicle coverage, and updated diagnostic functions. The functionality of the diagnostic tool is thus maintained.
With an active license, you have access to all online features, including online programming and online coding, and continuously receive updates for new vehicle models. After the license expires, the ability to download new software stops and the online features become unavailable. The already installed software remains usable for offline diagnostic tasks. After ordering, the update license is activated within 24 hours based on the provided serial number.

This license activates the following functions for the OTOFIX D1 diagnostic tool:

Serial number information:
For license activation, the serial number of your diagnostic tool is required. You must enter this number, which consists of 14 characters, in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the OTOFIX D1 tablet.
- Settings menu: In the software menu under 'Settings' > 'About'.
- Packaging box: On a sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
