The Topdon Phoenix Lite update license is a digital authorization that upgrades the diagnostic software of your scan tool to the latest version. The license is valid for 1 year from the date of activation and unlocks all new software updates, protocol additions, and improvements released by the manufacturer during this period. This ensures your device remains compatible with newer vehicle models and updated ECU architectures that become available after your purchase.
The license is supplied as an update card with a 12-digit activation code. Simply log into the Phoenix Lite software and enter the code manually through the update or license menu. Once entered, new updates become available and can be downloaded and installed using the standard update function. When the license period expires, the software already installed on your device continues to work normally, but new updates and additional vehicle coverage are blocked until a new update license is activated.
