After purchase, the license is automatically activated on the linked serial number, eliminating the need for manual coding or registration. Once activation is processed, the device can download and install available updates via the existing connection to the OBDSTAR server. The user can immediately continue working with the most current software version and retain access to supported vehicle coverage. After the term expires, the device remains functional with the last installed version, but new updates become available only after renewal.
