Launch X-431 Pro 5 | Update License
The update license for the Launch X-431 Pro 5 provides access to new software updates for a period of 1 or 2 years. With an active license, the reader device is supplied with the most recent vehicle data, new diagnostic functions, and software improvements released by the manufacturer.
An active license is a prerequisite for using online functionalities, such as online codings. When the license has expired, the reader device retains its offline basic functions with the last installed software version, but it is no longer possible to receive updates or use online functions. The renewal code for the license is delivered online within 24 hours after ordering via Whatsapp or Email.

The activation of this license grants access to the following functionalities:
- Software updates: Access to the latest software versions and bug fixes for the diagnostic system.
- Extended vehicle coverage: Updates for coverage of new car models, systems, and components.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the software license, the serial number of your reader device is required. This number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the comments field when completing your order. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On a sticker on the back of the X-431 Pro 5 tablet.
- Settings menu: In the software under the 'Profile' or 'About' menu.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the device.
