The Launch X-431 HD III update license with a duration of 1 year provides access to the latest software updates for the associated diagnostic device. These updates include new vehicle models, updated diagnostic functions, and general software improvements for heavy vehicles.
With an active license, the diagnostic device operates with the most current software and has access to all supported diagnostic functions. After the license expires, the device continues to work based on the last installed software version, but receiving new updates is no longer possible. The renewal code for the license is delivered online within 24 hours after ordering via Whatsapp or Email.

For the activation of the license, the serial number of the diagnostic device is required. This number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On a sticker on the back of the Launch X-431 HD III module.
- Settings menu: In the software menu of the connected X-431 tablet, often under 'Info' or 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the product.
