The OBDSTAR M075 is the adapter cable for the 6-pin Toyota/Yanmar diagnostic connector on marine combustion engines. The cable connects that connector to the 16-pin OBD2 (J1962)-port on your OBDSTAR device and plugs into the factory diagnostic port on the engine side.
Toyota and Yanmar marine engines share the same proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector, which doesn't fit standard OBD2 equipment. The cable translates the pin configuration to the corresponding pins on the OBD2 port. There's no active electronics inside: the signal adaptation is completely passive and works through fixed wiring.
The cable unlocks the engine control unit of the marine engine. Which fault codes and engine parameters you can then read depends on the coverage of your connected OBDSTAR device, not the cable itself.
