The OBDSTAR TCM-019 adapter cable is designed to establish a direct connection with the Transmission Control Module (TCM) of General Motors. This cable connects the specific 16-pin connector of the GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80, and 6L90 automatic transmissions to a standard 15-pin DB15 interface. This makes it possible to connect the control unit directly via a workbench setup for complex diagnostic procedures and targeted data transfer.

Within the diagnostic context, this adapter facilitates exact power supply and data communication for reading and writing internal transmission software. Due to the OEM-specific pin configuration, CAN-bus signals are transmitted stably and without data loss between the disconnected module and the diagnostic equipment. The wiring is calibrated to ensure constant voltage during critical programming processes. This cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR readers or programmers.
